Red Poinsettia Cupcakes & Push Pops

Twenty days to Christmas ...
OMG Christmas is indeed  just around the corner.
Christmas always my favorite holiday. Our family  tradition on Christmas  is cooking....
Yes cooking.. making home baked  cookies, cakes and dinner for the holiday.
I know it is  a lot of work, but it's Christmas time to celebrate with family and friends ...
and eat good food .

For  the past couple years ... after Christmas we sometimes think ...why don't we go somewhere or taking a trip for Christmas next year, more relaxing, no cooking,no chopping, no baking, no washing bunch of dishes etc etc.

But by the time  Christmas is coming... we will back to our usual thing that  we always do every year.
We feel that Christmas is not completed if we are not having  homemade holiday meals.
I know we spent more time in the kitchen when the holiday is coming, but that's what our family traditions and we don't  want to change it.

When one of our new customer asked me this week to make some Christmas goodies for their office party, I'm so happy. It feels like  I am making Christmas goodies for my own family. Their theme of the party is Red Poinsettia.
I made wreath with red poinsettia cupcakes, some of cupcakes and push pops (FYI  I am  starting "likes" a new gadget - Push Pops ).

FALL LEAVES WREATH

My sister got early Thanksgiving dinner party invitation from her friend last week. She asked me to make some dessert to bring it to the party. I have no clue what I'm going to make last week.

I just figured it out why not checking at  Pinterest , there are a lot inspirations. I really adore Pinterest :).
If you have account in Pinterest, please follow me --- http://pinterest.com/ifrost_cakes/

Ok back to my inspiration for Fall Leaf Wreath. I got it from here
I'm thinking to make it with cupcakes.

Here how I made it :

  10 pcs cupcakes

washed with soap and  pat dry all the leaves

Yellow/orange/chocolates/green chocolate candy melt

I don't  have red chocolate candy melt, so I used white chocolates candy melt  and color it with red candy colors. for decoration the fall leaves  I used orange sixlets & paint brush.

Melting  each color chocolate candy  in the microwave. Next  paint  it. Make sure to flip over your leaves and paint the backside melt to each leaf.  ...you can paint each leaf each color or mix with 2 or more colors. click it ---->   how to paint the leaves

love all fall leaves colors :)

Frosted all the cupcakes,  then arrange all the chocolates leaves.

I used gum paste for Happy Thanksgiving ribbons
It's easy ..right ! I really like the result.

I made Chocolate cupcakes with mocha frosting ( my sister's favorite ).
Yes... the party was last saturday and everybody love my Fall Leaves Wreath Cupcakes. I hope y'all too ;-).

FOR ALL MY BLOGGER'S  FRIENDS AND FAMILY :

WISHING YOU A THANKSGIVING
FILLED WITH SWEET JOYS AND HAPPY MOMENTS.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !

The first layer I made is Red Velvet cake with cream cheese swiss meringue butter cream filling and the second layer is Devil Chocolate cake with Rum Chocolate Ganache filling. YUM !
